At PassMyBits.com, we call a digital vault a Pass. You can bring information and documents together by topic, giving you one clear overview for yourself. The content you enter and the documents you add are end-to-end encrypted. You do not have to share your Pass (digital vault) or make it accessible to anyone else. You only add a trusted person if you choose to.

The contents of your Pass (digital vault) and your documents are end-to-end encrypted in your browser before they are sent to PassMyBits. In plain language: the server only receives unreadable, encrypted information. Without the encryption password, the content cannot be made readable. PassMyBits does not store this password, so it cannot read the content or recover the password for you.

Adding a trusted person is not required to create or use a Pass (digital vault). Without a trusted person, no one can request access to that Pass (digital vault) through PassMyBits.

Give your Pass (digital vault) a recognizable name and choose an icon that suits it.

Complete what is relevant to you
Go through the topics and add only the information you want to include in your own overview.

Upload files under the topic they belong to, so the information and document can be found together.

Decide about access yourself
If you only want to use the Pass (digital vault) yourself, do not add a trusted person. You can still do so later if you choose.

A Pass (digital vault) works without a trusted person. Access for someone else is only set up when you add that person to this Pass (digital vault) yourself.

No. You can create, complete, and use a Pass (digital vault) without a trusted person. Adding someone is optional.
